Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the defending champions, have made a stupendous start in the ongoing 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The franchise has now won three matches in a row and are placed at the top of the points table.
After getting the better of RCB and DC, the yellow army managed to beat the Rajasthan Royals (RR) by eight runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday. Thanks to captain MS Dhoni whose unbeaten knock of 75 runs propelled CSK to put up a total of 175/5 on the board.

Three in three for . And three in three for – mind you Rajasthan should have won all the three games they eventually lost

Good game, and when it is a pressure situation, CSK invariably find a way to win. Terrific last over from DJ Bravo.

In my profession, in live television, I have learnt that there is always more time than you think there is. MS Dhoni shows that everyday on a cricket field. The power of a calm mind!

Well played CSK. Another missed opportunity for RR. They lost it in the last 3 overs. Good night.

– Their 15th win in the last 17 games at this venue.— Mohandas Menon (@mohanstatsman)
The true success of lies in finding heroes every game and not being over dependent on one or two. It was Dhoni with the Bat and Bravo with the Ball in the final over today. Bhajji and Watson were the stars in the first two games. Champions for a reason
