IPL 2019: Suresh Raina sings the ‘Whistle Podu’ song for Chennai Super Kings – watch video

Ahead of the beginning of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have released a video of Suresh Raina singing the ‘Whistle Podu’ song.

Raina will be playing for CSK for the tenth season this year. His close affinity with the CSK franchise and consequently with the city of Chennai has been one of the most endearing things about the southpaw’s IPL career. He is often called ‘Chinna Thala’ (small master) by CSK fans, with MS Dhoni having been accorded ‘Thala’ status.

The video of the rendition, released by CSK is captioned: “The whistlemax #ChinnaThala you just can’t get enough of! #WhistlePodu #YelloveAgain”.

CSK will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the opening match of the tournam🍬ent on March 23.
