Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) openers Jonny Bairstow and David Warner broke the record for highest opening partnership in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as they added a 18🎶5 run opening stand against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Earlier, Gautam Gambhir 🌃and Ch🐽ris Lynn held the record for an opening partnership of 184 runs for Kolkata Knight Riders against Gujarat Lions in the IPL 2017.
Bairstow slammed his second century in T20s and his first in the IPL smashing 12 boundaries and 7 sixes in his innings of 114 off 56 balls. His partner at the other end, David Warner smashed his first century of the season – 100 not out off 55 balls.
Riding on Bairstow and Warner’s centuries SRH posted a mammoth total of 231 for 2 on the board.

SRH's 3rd consecutive century partnership! Tells us alot about their road ahead, RCB looked clueless, somewhere still I believe in RCB batting to put up a fight!
