The 12th edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played in Enꦜgland and Wales from May 30 ꦍto July 14.
As the mega event is approaching near, the cricket experts and former cricketers are busy predicting about the players who 🌊are going to make it into the final squad of 15.
Recently, the veteran Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh revealed his version of India’s World Cup squad. Speaking for Sports Tak, Bhajji didn’t make many changes to the current line-up. However, surprisingly, he left out Rishabh Pant from the squad.
The 38-year-old also included right-arm fast bowler Umesh Yadav in his line up who had a good Ranji season. Harbhajan has also backed Vijay Shankar to come good if given a chance during t💙he Wor♔ld Cup.
Shankar was impressive in the limited opportunities he got in Australia and New Zealand and it could well be a shootout between him and Hardik Pandya for the all-rounder’s role in the side.
The offie also believes that conditions in England can be quite hot and humid whichও brings Ravindra Jadeja into the game and hence, the team management can look at him as𒁃 another all-rounder.
“If you remember, during the 2017 Champions Trophy, the weather in the UK was hot and humid. So, if conditions are same, Jadeja could still be used as a package, if the opposition team has five to six right-handers in their line-up. Play him as No.6 with Hardik Pandya as No.7. Also, he is still your best fielder,” he added.
Harbhajan Singh’s 15-man India squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019:
Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Ja🍷sprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Dinesh Karthik, Umesh Yadav, Vijay Shankar.
Probable: Ravindra Jadeja
