Darren Sammy, former West Indies skipper and current captain of Peshawar Zalmi, the franchise in Pakistan Super League (PSL) recently slammed an Instagram user for calling Pakistani’s terrorists.
Currently in Pakistan for the upcoming edition of the PSL, Sammy has b𒉰een enjoying the amazing reception and posted a picture of him on social media to acknowledge the love showered on him by the Pakistani people.
Sammy has always been vocal about gett🦄ing cricket back to Pakistan, a country which has been deprived of the cricketing action ever since an attack on the Sri Lankan team in Lahore in 2009.
Since then, most of t💙he cricket playing nations have denied touring Pakistan. And Pakistan cricket team have also played most of their hom🐎e games in the UAE since 2009.
However, ♉the PSL is expected to return to the country next year with the officials positive on staging the tournament back home.
“United we stand divided we fall Love makes the world go round. Nothing but love for the people of Pakistan,” Sammy wrote on Instagram with a picture of himself in Pakistan.
Looking at the picture, a follower wrote, “They r terrorists”, and even received severe backlash for such an offensive comment from Sammy’s fans.
However, Sammy handled the situation impressively, and asked the Instagram user to ‘get off’ his page.
