When it comes to embarrassing dismissals in the game of cricket, hit-wicket tops the list. A batsman is left high and dry because of his own mistake and sometimes even becomes a r🍷eason for many to laugh.
One such incident happened 🍬during a Big Bash League match between Sydney Thunder and Perth Scorchers in Sydney on Wednesday.
Thunder’s wicket-keeper Jos Buttler scored 55 runs off 54 balls with the help of four fours and a six before he was out hit-wicket in a bizarre fashion.
Buttler moved across his crease but connected an off-stump with his b🐎at as he attempted to sweep pace bowler Jhye Richa🍌rdson.
