If age is just a numbe🌄r then the♎re is absolutely little denying that New Zealand veteran Brendon McCullum is one of the few stars in the world cricket now who prove it right.
McCullum nearly pulled off an absolute one-handed blinder on Saturday while playing for Brisbane Heat against Perth Scorchers in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL 08). The 37-year old nearly had everyone gasping foꦍr breath with his cat-like mov🌳e near the boundary rope.
It was in the 14th over 🌺of the first innings in Perth when Mitchell Marsh hit a ꦉJosh Lalor delivery towards McCullum, who was fielding at long-off.
McCullum flew off the ground and clasped the white le🧸ather in his right mit, and it looked like he had taken the screamer.
But when he landed the ball bounced out.
Heat’s captain Chris Lynn while speaking to Fox Cricket said McCullum had blamed the stadium lights in his eyes for the spill.
Also, commentator Mel Jones reckoned it could have been the “catch of the century.”
