The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday showered huge cash rewards on the Indian t💖eam for postin🐈g historic Test series triumph over the Aussies in Australia.
The cash prizes will also be g🥀iven to the coaches and support staff who wer🐽e a part of the Indian contingent during the recently-concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which the tourists won 2-1.
BCCI 🔴has announced cash rew🐈ards of ₹15 lakhs per match for the players who were in the playing XI and ₹7.5 lakhs per match for the players who were in the reserve squad.
Meanwhile, the coaches will receive ₹25 lakhs each a🦩nd the support staf🌞f (non-coaching) will receive bonuses equivalent to their pro-rata salary/professional fee.
The players who featured in all four Test matches will benefit the most and are likely to pocket the highest amount. Captain Virat Kohli along with the likes of Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant are some of the players who played🥃 all four ⛄Test matches and will be bagging the highest amount.
In🤪dia scripted history by winning the first-ever Test series on the Australian soil. Next, India and Australia are slated to play🎃 a three-match ODI series beginning January 12 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
