Chasing a target of 323 runs in their second inning, Australia fell short of 31 runs. Shaun Marsh (60 runs) was🐠 the highest scorer for the team in the second inning.
As Australia was closing in towards ﷺthe target, it was Ashwin🍨 who took the last wicket of Josh Hazlewood to wrap up the match. Ashwin, Bumrah, and Shami took 3 wickets each in the second inning.
Cheteshwar Pujara was awarded the ‘Player of the Match’ for his brilliant knock of 123 and 71 runs.
