On the opening day of the second Test between Australia and India at the Perth Stadium, the tourist’s vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane took a stunning catch to dismiss the home team’s middle-order batsman Shaun Marsh.
It happened on the last ball of the 77th over when Marsh attempted to cut a short delivery from Hanuma Vihari only to edge it to Rahane at first slip. Marsh, who came in to bat at No. 4, ended up scoring 💮45 (98) with the help of six fours.
Meanwhile, Rahane, who is ever-sharp in th🌱e slip cordon took a blinder, despite the ball deflecting away from the pads of wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant.
