Left-handed batsman Gautam Gambhir has been in fine form in the ongoing Ranji Trophy and has been playing the mentor’s role to the youngster after stepping down as Delhi captain.
On𝓀 Day 3 of the match against H💟imachal Pradesh, Gambhir could not complete his half-century. All thanks to the hilarious folly committed by the southpaw.
After striking the ball, Dhruv Shorey asked Gambhir to take a couple of runs but the🍸 latter ran quite casually for a second and could not land his bat on time⛎. Rishi Dhawan, the fielder collected the ball and whipped the bails off in a flash.
In⛦ no time, Gambhir was seen making his way back to the pavilion on the score of 49.

Now on Children’s Day (14th November), the left-hander posted a tweet where he took a jibe at himself for the lazy run-out. He took to Twitter and wrote, “Anaiza to Aazeen: Didi, how did papa celebrate Children’s Day? Aazeen replied: Well, today in the Ranji Trophy match he got run out like a kid!!!! Papa: 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈 @natashagambhir2 #ChildrensDay.”
