The series includes previous cricket scandals, match-fixing allegations in 2000 surrounding Hansie Cronje and Mohammed Azharuddin, the mysterious death of Pakistan Cricket Team coach Bob Woolmer in 2007 and the IPL spot-fixi😼ng case in the year 2013 which resulted in a 2-year ban for Rajasthan Royals and C♋hennai Super Kings team.
It was one of the most critically acclaimed shows of 2017 for performance and storyline. The show has really strong characters and intrౠiguing narrative that showcases the darker side of the cricket. The series has also been nominated in the Drama Series category at The International Emmy Awards.
