South Africa leg-spinner Imran Tahir took a hat-trick in a magical spell against Zim🔯babwe at Bloemfontein on ܫWednesday.
The 39-year-old Tahir, who had been asked about his retirement plans before the match, showed that there is still a lot of energy left in🅺 him as he rattled the visitors with a mix o🌱f googlies and leg-spins.
Tahir, who ended the game with 6/24 in✱ six overs – his second-best fi🀅gures in ODI cricket, behind 7/45 against the West Indies – as South Africa registered a 120-run victory to claim the three-match series 2-0.
T🤡ahir ripped through the Zimbabwean batting when he trapped Brendan Taylor leg before in his first over, then dismissed Sean Williams, Elton Chigumbura and Peter Moor with success🎶ive deliveries to get his hat-trick.
He also went on his usual excitable run across the field to celebrate the fourth ODI hat-t⛎rick by a South 𓃲African, following Charl Langeveldt, JP Duminy and Kagiso Rabada, and the 45th player in world cricket.
