WATCH: George Bailey’s unique batting stance leaves Faf du Plessis in splits

George Bailey, on Wednesday, led from the front to guide Prime Minister’s XI to a four-wicket win over South Africa in a tour match at Manuka Oval in Canberra.

Bailey scored unbeaten 51 to help his side reach the victory target of 174 i☂n 36.3 overs.

However, it was his unique batting stance that grabbed attention even as he faced the likes of Kagiso Rabada a🀅nd Lungi Ngidi.

Watching him bat, South Africa captain Faf 🥃du Plessis could not stop his𒐪 giggles while the Aussie commentators were left wondering what Bailey was doing.

“Faf du Plessis in the second slip is like ‘what’s going on’,” Brett Lee said on air.

“He is facing like he’s facing a bowler from third man. It works, it works for him. He’s got to wear thigh pad on the back of his leg, a hamstring thigh pad may be…a hamstring pad,” said Mark Howard, who was on air with Lee.

“I think we need Mark Waugh, the batting expert here,” Lee added.
