Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai defeated Bihar by nine wickets in a quarter-final match of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy at the Just Cricket Academy Ground in Bengaluru on Sunday.
But what made news was a fan who breached the securi🧜ty in 💙order to go and meet Rohit Sharma.
Mumbai was chasing Bihar’s paltry 70-run target when a fan burst on to the scene and tried to kiss opening batsman Rohit Sharma. The fan first touched Rohit’s legs, tried to kiss him and then made a dash back to the stands.
Later when Mumbai match-winner Tushar Deshpande was asked about the incident, he cheekily replied, “It is going to happen. He is Rohit Sharma and it is an open ground. But he was quite calm (after the incident).”
