India pacer Umesh Yadav was the star of the show for the hosts as he rattled Windies with a 6-wicket haul in the first innings of the secജond Test at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
Umesh picked up all the three wickets to fall on day 2 as the visitors were bundled out for 311 in their first innings. With this effort, the fast bowler became the fir𒁏st pacer ཧsince 2000 to pick up a 6 wicket-haul in an innings.
Figures of 6 for 88 were also his best bowling figures personally as he bettered his previous best w🌼hich came against Australia in January 2012 at Perth when he finished with 5/93.
Umesh took the wickets of Shai Hope (36), Roston Chase (106), Shane Dowrich (30), Jason Holder (52), Devendra Bishoo (2) and Shannon Gabriel (0) in the Windies fꦕi🌳rst innings.
