Right-arm fast bowler Umesh Yadav will replace injured Shardul Thakur in India’s squad for the first two ODIs against Windies.
Shardul suffered with a right adductor tendon injury 🍒during the second Test in Hyderabad and has now been ruled out of the upcoming 50-over matches.
The Mumbai pac🍷er was for🥂ced to move out off the field after bowling just 10 deliveries with an ankle injury on Day 1 of his debut Test match at the Uppal Stadium.
Earlier, Shardul was ruled out of the Asia Cup 2018 as well, with right hip and groin soreness after🌳 playing only one match, against Hong Kong.
Umesh Yadav, who bagged the Man of the Match award for his 10 wicket-haul in the match at Hyderabad, last played an ODI for India during England s🔯eries claiming one for 63 in his 10 overs. England won that match by 86 ru💞ns.
