WATCH: The Oval crowd and players give Alastair Cook a standing ovation as he completes his 33rd Test century

England opening batsman Alastair Cook scored a century in the second innings of his final Test match, ꧑following his fifty🌜 in the first innings against India at The Oval.

Coincidentally, Cook’s Test career began with a fifty in the first innings followed by a century at Nagpur in 2006, also against India.

Cook, who scored 60 and 104 not out in his debut Test, will end his career with 32 centuries and 56 half-centurie♈s from 161 Tests.

The left-hander smashed his 33rd Test century when Jasprit Bumrah made a overthrow which resulted in five runs. And as soon as the ball crossed the fence, the whole stadium including Cook’s teammate stood up and applauded the great opener’s last century in Test cricket.
