Asia Cup 2018: ‘Catches win matches’, as the saying goes, and Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza proved it right by grabbing unarguably the catch of the tournament to dismiss Pakistan’s middle order batsman Shoaib Malik.
The catch proved decisive as far as the result of the match is concerned, especially considering the s𒀰ort of form Malik was in as Bangladesh managed to restrict Men in Green to 202/9 to c🌠laim a 37-run win.
Pace bowler Rubel Hossain slightly ov𝓰er-pitched the bal🤪l onto the legs of the former Pakistani skipper, it was not the best of a delivery, but Malik found Mashrafe on its way.
