Batting woes for opening batsman Alastair Cook continues 🌳in the ongoing Test series between England and India. The former England skippe🐟r entered the series under immense pressure and has done very little so far to shut his critics up.
Cook is averaging a poor 19 in Tests this🌠 year. It is his lowest yearly average since he began h♒is Test career with a splendid century against India in 2006.
In the first innings of the ongoing 4th Test, Cook managed to score just 17 runs and his hopes of scoring big in the seco🌱nd innings was ꦉended by Jasprit Bumrah.
The left-hander could score only 12 before being caught by KL Rahulꩲ in the slips.
Bumrah made Cook to drive one and the latter ended up edging it. The ball was p𝕴itched up and Cook just could not resist the temptation and paid a h🗹efty price.
Meanwhile, Rahul, nearly made a mess of a✅n eꦇasy catch before completing it.
