Afghanistan’s Mohammad Shahzad scored his fifth ODI century against India during their Super Four match of the Asia Cup 2018 on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman r🦋aced to his🦹 hundred off 88 balls at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

With India already in the final and Afghanistan out of contention, Shahzad’s knock spiced up the inconsequential match. So dominant was Shahzad that fellow opener Javed Ahmadi was only five in a stand of 65, before India struck four times within the space of 17 runs.

Left-arm spinners Ravindra Jade🐼ja (3/46) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/38) derailed Afghanistan innings but Shahzad held one end, adding 50 for the fifth wic🎃ket with Gulbadin Naib who made 15 and another 48 for the sixth with Mohammad Nabi.

Nabi made a fiery 5🍎6-ball 64 with four🍬 sixes and three boundaries.

Shahzad was finally out in the 38th over but by th🥃en had given a good platfor🥀m to his team.

Virender Sehwag, Mohammad Kaif among others lauded Shahzad’s century, while some people mentioned how skills are more important than size.
