Making her Kia Super League (KSL) debut, India’s T20I skipper Harmanpreet Kaur smashed a four and a six in the final over to seal a thrilling match for Lancashire Thunder against Surrey Stars on Tuesday.
Thu𒉰nder chasing 148 against Surrey Stars won the match by five wickets with a ball to spare. Harmanpreet remained unbeaten on 34 off just 21 balls. Her knock of around half an hour included a six and three fours.
Thunder’s opener Nicole Bolton top-scored for them with 87 runs off 61 balls including 13 fours.
In front of 2,257 spectators at the Kennington Oval, London, Surr🌠ey💦 were favourites when the last over began where Thunder needed 11 runs.
Thunder lost a wicket when they needed eight runs off the final three balls and that broug🃏ht Harmanpreet on strike. She took everyone by storm with those two strikes and ensured her Super League debut would be talked ൩about for a while.
