A rejuvenated Virat Kohli led India beat England by 203 runs in the third Test at Trent Bridge on Wednesday to stay꧃ alive in the five-match series, courtesy a sensational five-wicket haul from Jaspri🍃t Bumrah in his comeback game on day four.
Nine wickets down with 311 on the bo⛎ard, England resumed on the final day morning and lasted 17 balls. Ravichandran🐼 Ashwin took the last wicket, bringing to end a dogged 11 from James Anderson.
Ashwin, who didn’t look 100% fit in this game, didn’t disappoint his skipper and turned one big from wide of the crease to take the edge of the left-hander as Ajinkya Rahane managed to pouch it to confirm that there was no more drama in the game.
Eng🍌land were eventually bowled out for 317 runs and India stunningly came back in the series with a thumping win.
