Rajasthan Royals (RR) opening batsman Rahul Tripathi got into an awkward situation during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 eliminator match against Kolkata Knightꦺ Ride🐻rs (KKR).
On the third delivery of the second over of RR’s innings, Tripathi tried to play a back of the length delivery from Prasidh Krishna but the bat flipped out of his hand. He could not get hold of the bat while running towards the non-striker’s end to complete a single.
After completing the run, Tripathi asked the umpire whether he could go and pick up his bat. He and RR skipper Ajinkya Rahane shared a laugh as the latter𒆙 hand⭕ed him his bat.
