Jasprit Bumrah snapped up three crucial wickets in the death overs as defending champions, Mumb🦩ai Indians, kept their play-off hop🔯es alive by notching up a thrilling three-run win over Kings XI Punjab in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Wednesday.
Chasing 187 to win, KL Rahul blasted 10 fours and three sixes in his 60-ball 94-run innings and shared a 111-run second wicket partnership with Aaron Finch (46) to take Punjab to the brink of a successful run-chase but Bumrah’s brilliance in the second spell derail the chase.
Earlier, West Indian power-hitter Keiron Pollard finally found his groove with a fiery 50 to bail Mumbai out of trouble and post ꦛa challenging tot🥀al of 186/8.
Here is how Twitterati reacted to MI’s win over KXIP:
Magnificent innings from KL Rahul. He had 𝔍been magnificent and feel for him but Kings 11 have simply not been good enough in the crucial phases. Mumbai owe this to Bumrah. Top spell

Bumrah’s 17th and 19th overs….didn’t concede a single boundary in his spell of four overs in a high scoring encounter on a flat pitch. Well done 👍
