Top 5 players ruled out of IPL 2018 due to injury

The Indian Premier League (IPL) which go𓆉es on for nearly 2 months, is the biggest sports tournament of the country. In the 11 season of this IPL, a lot of players are seen in action, hit💎ting the ball out of the park or picking up wickets.

But there were some who missed out on the opportunity due to an untimely injury. Not to mention,the IPL 2018 teams had a hard ti𝓀me in finding the replacem🌜ents for these players.

Let’s have a look at the top 5 players who were ruled out because of injury:

1. Kedar Jadhav

After a heroic performance ( taking his team to victory in the 𒉰last over) in the IPL 2018 opener against Mumbai Indians, Kedar Jadhav was ruled out of the tournament because of a grade-2 hamstring tear he sustained during⛎ the match.

2. Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc was sold t🌌o Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2018 auction for Rs 9.4 crores. But he was not able to join the franchise due to a stress fracture in his right leg. Tom Curran was named as his replacement for the tournament by KKR.

3. Kagiso Rabada

The Delhi Daredevils f💞ranchise included South African pacer in their squad during this  ൩auctions for Rs 4.2 crores. He was ruled out of the tournament due to a lower back stress fracture.

4. Bill Stanlake

Australian pacer Billy Stanlake who was a part of  🥀Sunrisers Hyderabad squad, suffered a finger injury while fieldin𓆏g in a match against Chennai Super Kings at Hyderabad on 22 April. Later he was ruled out of the remaining tournament.

5. Pat Cummins

The defending IPL champions Mumbai Indians included Cummins in their🐬 squad during the IPL 2018 auction for Rs 5.4 crores. Bu♛t Australian fast bowler missed the tournament due to a back issue. New Zealand pacer Adam Milne was named as his replacement.
