As the 19-year old leggie hammered unbeaten 34 runs in 10 balls and recorded figures o𒐪f 3/19 in 4 overs to script a 14🐠-run win for SRH against Kolkata Knight Riders in the Qualifier 2 at the Eden Gardens on Friday.
Many In𓂃dian fans also wanted Rashid Khan to be given c🐷itizenship of their country after his fantastic performance in Kolkata.
But, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani said the star player is his country’s asset and they won’t give him away.
In a tweet, Ghani thanked IPL for giving chance to Afghanistan’s cricketers. He tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi too.
