It was a happy homecoming for the Chennai Super Kings at the Chepauk. The returning franchise hosted the Kolkata Knight Riders in their first home game of the season. The Men in Yellow played at the iconic venue in Chennai after two years. Hence, tꦕhe build up and the buzz around the game was immense. The fans flocked in large numbers and they were treate🎀d with a total run feast.

Over 400 runs were scored in the game and the hosts eventually sealed the game. Chasing 202 to win, it was the quick 23❀-ball 56 from Sam Billings that changed the course of the game. Towards the end, Ravindra Jadeja creamed a six to finish thinꦚgs off in style and complete a 5 wicket win for the Chennai Super Kings.
