VIDEO: Ellyse Perry left batting mid-way after her shot injured a young kid

Australia’s star women cricketer Ellyse Perry is known for her phenomena🐟l batting and bowling skills. And on Saturday, she proved that apart from being a class all-rounder, she is a gem of a person too.

During a match in the ongoing Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) between Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Stars, the play stopped for a while when Perry rushed towards the crowd after hitting a cracking shot.

She had hit a massive six and the ball went into the stands. It actua𝓡lly hit a young boy in his head.

When Perry came to know about the incident, she stopped batting and rushed straight away to check whether that boy was ‘Ok. Her partner Dane van Niekerk and so෴me of the Melbourne Stars players followed Perry to the North Sydney Oval fence.

As per the Australian media reports, an ambulance was soon arranged at the venue while the boy was conscious. It was stated by one of the spectat🤡ors (who witnessed the incident) that the ball flew over the fence, deflected onto a wooden chair and then struck the boy in the forehead.
