Cricket South Africa has announced that the tw൲o-day warm-up game India were scheduled to play in South Africa has been cancelled.
Team India will now conduct training se✃ssions on those days, which means Virat Kohli & Co. will head into the three-match Test series, to start from 5th January 2018 in Cape Town, without a single practice match.
“Please be advised that the two-day warm-up match for India at Eurolux Boland Park will no longer be taking place. India has opted for training sessions on those days,” CSA stated.
The South African board also ﷺannounced changes made in the starting time for the day-night matches. Five of the six ODIs between South Africa and India have been given a half hour earlier start, with the first, third, fourth, fifth and sixth ODIs starting at 1 pm local time, and not ꦛ1:30 pm.
