Sri Lanka’s scored 205 runs in their first innings. In return, team India set a huge score of 610/6 before declaring their first innings. 3 Indian batsmen scored hundreds (Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Rohit Sharma), while Kohli scored a double hundred.
This is Kohli’s 10th international century this year, which is a record by any captain. The earlier record was held by Australia’s Ricky Ponting who scored 9 centuries in a given year, twice.
