Known as the ‘Nawab of Najafgarh’ duri♌ng his playing days, Virender Sehwag has now emerged as the ‘Nawab of Twitter’ in the past couple of years. Not only does the former India opener post witty tweets nowadays, but also gets the better of banter exchanges.
The Twitter banter between Sehwag and New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor has continued ever since the Kiwis arrived in India 🍬for t🔯he limited overs series.
But🦩 now, Viru has taken the whole conversation ⭕to another level by asking UIDAI for Aadhaar eligibility criteria of the Kiwi batsman.
After multiple Twitter conversations regarding Ross’ name being converted from Taylor to Darji (Tailor), the former Blackcaps skipper started posting on social media in Hindi but Sehwag wasn’t shying away either and kept the banter going.

Impressed by the Ross’ Hindi, Sehwag involved UIDAI in the conversation, asking if the Kiwi star was eligible for an Aadhaar card.

UIDAI took the tweet with a tinge of humour as their official Twitter handle responded by stating, “Language no bar. Resident status is what matters.”

In the end, Sehwag admitted that government always has the last laugh and chose to end the conversation with a smile. “How much ever fun one has, Government always has the last laugh :)”, Sehwag’s last tweet read.
