New Zealand Cricket on Saturday named the complete squad for the upcoming three-match One-Day International💖 (ODI) and T20I💎 series against India.
New Zealand had earlier picked only nine members for the ODIs and had to pick the remaining six after assess𒈔ing the performance of the players taking part in t🎃he A tour.
The six members added to the ODI squad are Glenn Phillips, Tꦰodd Astle, Matt Henry, Henry Nicholls, Colin Munro and George Worker. These six players currently part of the New Zealand A squad will join the national team after the ꦗconclusion of the series against India A in Visakhapatnam on October 15.
Star batsman Kane Williamson will captain the Black Caps on 𝕴the India tour comprising three ODIs and as many T20Is.
Todd Astle ha﷽s been picked for the ODIs ahead of leg-spinner Ish Sodhi, who remains part of the T20 squad. The 31-year-old has two First-Class hundreds to his name besides 312 wickets and has played two Tests and as many T20s for New Zealand.
F🐲ollowing the conclusion of ODIs, senior batsman Ross Taylor and George Worke෴r will fly back home.
The nine members of the sq🧸uad arrived in India yesterday and will play two warm-up games before the ODI series opener.
