Chasing a total of 253, Australia lost their opener Hilton Cartwright in the third over. The Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar went wide of the crease and angled in one while Cartwright, who had not offered shots to previous out swinging deliveries, play⛦ed for the outswing.
