Star India won the global broadcasting and digital media rights of the Indian Premier League (IPL) thanks to their bid of Rs 16347.5 crore at the BCCIꦇ-organised auction in Mumbai on Monday.
Star outbid Sony, the previous TV rights holders and 12 other bidders to grab 🐟the TV and digital rights ꦦfor the next five years from 2018 to 2022.
However, after Star India bagged the IPL media rights, TV anchor and host Archana Vijaya, who is renowned for her w𒁃ork in the Extraaa Innings show during the IPL matches took to her Twitter handle to express her happiness over the same.

As soon as Archana posted her tweet, few fans 🃏ended up trolling the glamorous anchor for her comments. They taunted that sh💛e is not having any other work at the moment.
