Star India won the global broadcasting and digital media rights of the Indian Premier League (IPL)ꦕ thanks to their bid of Rs 16347.5 crore at the BCCI-organised auction in Mumbai on Monday🥂.
Star outbid S𝓰ony, the previous TV rights holders and ✤12 other bidders to grab the TV and digital rights for the next five years from 2018 to 2022.
However, after Star India bagged the IPL media rights, TV anchor and host Archana Vijaya, who is renowned for her work in the ꦇExtraaa Innings show during the IPL matches took to her Twitter handle to express her happiness⛦ over the same.
