Sri Lanka vs India 4th ODI: Debutant Shardul Thakur dismissed Sri Lankan opener Niroshan Dickwella to pick up his first wicket in ODI cricket. It wasn’t the best of deliveries but he got lucky and made a good start to his career.
It all happened on the 4th ball of Shardul’s second over of 2nd innings. Dickwella gloved a delivery to MS Dhoni and the wicket-keeper was the 🐬only one who was appealing for it. But the umpire denied it by signaling a wide.
But after the wide signal, Dhoni told skipper Virat Kohli that he heard something while passing the glove. After hear🧔ing this from Dhoni, suddenly Kohli went for the DRS.
Later the TV replay confirmed that there was a fine nick off the gloves. Young Shardul got his man just because of MS♋D. Umpire changed his decisi🙈on and raised his finger.
