Indian left-handed batsman Suresh Raina once again failed to make the cut in India’s limited overs series against Sri Lanka, starting from August 20 in Dambulla.
Raina has pla♒yed 223 ODI matches so far, scoring 5568 runs at an average of 35.46, along with 36 fifties and 4 centuries but have been missing from the national squad for a long time now.
The southpaw was last seen in 2015 against South Africa during the 5-match ODI series. He was part of the T20I squad against England earlier this year but hasn’t got any opportunity post that.
After being overlooked by the selectors, Ra🧜ina posted a cryptic message on his🥃 Instagram.
Here’s what Suresh Raina posted:
Well, not only Raina but also veteran Yuvraj Singh failed to make the cut. In-form middle-order batsmen Manish Pandey has been rewarded with a pl꧋ace in the 15 members squad following his heroics in the tri-nation series in South Africa. With the competition boiling down the neck to neck contest, Raina, once a vital cog in the middle-order, will now have to prove his case in the domestic matches.
