Team India’s opening batsman Rohit Sharma might have been given a break for the West Indies tour but he kept a track of what his teammates were up to in the Caribbean. The Mumbai lad, who is known to be jovial, has taken a friendly jibe at his teammate Kedar Jadhav on social media and compared Jadhav’s action with Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga.
Well, Kedar has often been captain Virat Kohli‘s go-to-man whenever the Indian front-line bowlers failed to pick up a wicket. Therefore, Rohit found an uncanny resemblance between the part-time spinner and the Mumbai Indians spearhead Malinga.
On his Instagram, Rohit posted a photo of the two at the bowling crease and wrote, “Why worry when we have one of our own @kedarjadhavofficial.”
Malinga is one of the best bowlers when it comes to the shortest format of the game and Rohit showed his humorous side through this post. Also, the ‘Hitman of Indian cricket’ himself will be looking forward to cement his place in the longer format as well after being selected in the Test squad for Sri Lanka tour.
