A 9-year old girl from Mumbai Anadi Tagde has been picked in Indore division under-19 cric𓃲ket squad.
Anadi is a right-arm medium pace bowler and has impressed 🍰one a𝕴nd all with her hard work and skills.
And now, she has ♏got an opportunity to show her talent with the ball at inter-division under-19 girls tournament in Gwalior.
“The boys didn’t allow me to play with them. So I used to play with my elder brother. Then my father Anurag Tagde sent me to a local cricket club for training,” she added.
“I was scared of the leather ball initially, but my father encouraged me and then the fear melted away,” Anadi said.
The 2008-born little girl is an admirer of Team India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya and one day, wants to play for the Indian women’s cricket team. Like many other young cricketers, she also has a desire to meet the cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar.
