In the rarest of rare incidents, Mandeep Singh took the field for South Africa A despite being the 12th man for India A. South African team already had their video analyst Hendrikus Coertzen fielding for them as their players were sufferi♔ng from stomach bugs and cramps.
When Quinton de Kock walked off the field, Mandeep donned the South Africa A jersey with the name of Eddie Leie on its back.
