IPL 2017: During a match against the Delhi Daredevils, the Gujarat Lions opener Dwayne Smith produced a slothy effort while completing a run and was dismissed in a bizarre fa💫shion.
This happened in the fourth over of the Lions innings, when Smith played the first ball bowled by Daredevils pacer Mohammed Shami⛄ towards the backward square leg region and ran f⛎or a single.
But what transpired was a scene of utter farce with Smith getting run out by miles, though, he could have easily completed a run. The right-hander batsman reacted a bit slow and didn’t even put on a dive to avoid himself from getting out.
