Young sensation Yuzvendra Chahal, who represents Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL, is the only player to represent Indiaꦓ in chess and cricket.
In 2002, Chahal was a U-12 national chess champion. He has represented India at the Asiꦓan Youth Championship (U-12 category) in Kozhikode and U-16 India at the World Youth Chess Championship in Greece.
