Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is arguably the greatest captain Team India has ever 🥂had. Under his captaincy Indian team won 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ICC World Cup, Champions Trophy 2013 and many more tournaments.
He also took India to no.1 in Test rankings in 2009 and captained the team till Decemb🌳er 2016, before stepping down on January 5, 2017.
However, the Ranchi-born cricketer was never away from contr🏅oversies as he has seen some loꦺw points during the course of his career.
The lowest point in his career came when his former teammate VVS Laxman claimed that Dhoni didn’t pick up his calls when the stylish Hyderabadi batsman decided to retire. The controversy was at the centre of media propaganda during 2012 as Laxman then did not invite Dhoni to his retirement party.
Meanwhile, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag along with Indian legendary batsman Sunil Gavaskar played a banter on the former skipper in the com🌊mentary box during the first Test be🐈tween India and Australia at Pune.
The little master questioned Seh🍸wag a🦄sking, “I heard that MS Dhoni is not answering calls on his phone?”
For which Vi🅰ru replied: “If you are a Chennai Super Kings player, you will get an answer from him.”
After these words of Viru, some of the cricket fanඣ🔯s still believe that there is some friction between Viru and Dhoni after all these years. Earlier also, there had been sayings about Dhoni giving more chances to CSK players during his time as the skipper for India.
