Gurmeet Ram Rahim, the leader of the religious sect Dera Sacha Sauda, claimed during an interview that his advice had a role to play in the Indian skipper’s success.
In an interview to the entertainment website ‘Spotboye’, Ram Rahim revealed how he helped Kohli to improve his batting.
“He (Virat Kohli) was unable to convert good starts into big scores. I suggested him to practice hard and continue learning,” said Ram Rahim.
He alꦺso said t⛦hat Kohli thanked him after getting selected for the Indian cricket team.
Ram Rahim revealed the names of other sports stars as well, who had earlier took advice from him so as to perform better in their respective fields. The names of players like Shikhar Dhawan, Ashish Nehra, Vijender Singh were among them.
