Here’s why Virat Kohli left the ball off the left-arm spinner Steve O’ Keefe

India lost the first Test match of a 4 match series against Australia by a huge margin of 333 runs. On a turning track, the Indian batsmen lost their wickets to a young Australian spinner, Stephen O’Keefe in both the innings.

After the match, speaking of O’Keefe’s performance at the press meet, Indian skipper Virat Kohli stated that the ball turned too 🐭much for his spinners and that might be the reason for the Australian batsman not ed🐭ging the ball.

On a funny note, he added that he is confused whether he should be happy that the ball was turning so much, or he should be sad that🔯 the spinners with less turn are getting wickets.

Talking about his own wicket, Kohli accepted his mistake. “I didn’t judge the ball properly. I should have waited a bit more before leaving the ball. I think I left it too early,” he added.
